What’s On in Bundy This Weekend: June 14–16

Winter might be rolling in, but there’s no hibernating in Bundy when the live music scene is this hot. From laid-back laneway vibes to rocking taverns and beachside singalongs, here’s everything you need to know to make your weekend in Bundaberg one to remember.

On Friday from 4PM, Andy McLucas will be warming things up at Sugarland Tavern while Miss Lee brings her smooth vocals to Sugarland Laneway. At 5:30PM, head to Ballistic Brewing for some laid-back acoustic tunes with Mick Bazley. As the sun goes down, the rhythm ramps up with Bradz Rock N Rhythm getting things moving at Burnett Bowls Club, and Rooster rocking the stage at the Federal Hotel in Childers. Andrew Copland brings the tunes to Sandhills Sports Club, Mark Lavender will be playing at Tattersalls Hotel, and Brooklyn Sauer lights up Ricks at Bargara.

By 6:30PM, Neil Wenck is ready to go at the Isis Club. Phoebe Jay will be performing at Woodgate Beach Club, while The Other Bloke entertains at Brothers Club. South Kolan Hotel hosts Keely Ellen, V Ywins takes on the Wallaville Hotel, and Todd Keightley hits the stage at Bundaberg RSL. Abby Skye & Batman take over Waves Sports Club, Bevan Spiers keeps things lively at Lighthouse Hotel, and Jas Deepwater hits the Agnes Water Tavern from 8PM. Wrapping up your Friday night with a bang, Clint Boge performs at Sugarland Tavern from 8:30PM.

Saturday morning kicks off at 10AM with Pete O’Brien easing you into the weekend at River Cruz Café. At midday, Andrew Copland makes a return to Bucca Hotel, followed by Jake Higgins at the Metro Hotel from 12:30PM.

By the time the sun starts to dip, the live music ramps right back up. At 5PM, you’ll find 2EZ lighting up Sugarland Laneway. From 5:30PM, Keely Ellen is back at Ballistic Brewing, and Miss Lee will be creating the soundtrack to your evening at Ricks at Bargara. If you missed him Friday, Andrew Copland returns to Sandhills Sports Club, and Shell Grinder rocks the Globe Hotel.

Saturday night features Phill & Chris Coad at the Bargara Beach Hotel from 6:30PM. Over at Brothers Club, Bre Ferguson is ready to entertain. Clint Boge returns to Sugarland Tavern, Mick Bazley takes the stage at Bundaberg RSL, and Matthew Farthing is back at the Spotted Dog. Waves Sports Club features the high-energy Sonic Playground, while The Fill Ins perform at Agnes Water Tavern from 8PM, and RLYAIR closes out the night at Lighthouse Hotel from 8:30PM.

Sunday starts with brunch and good vibes at 10AM, thanks to 2EZ performing at River Cruz Café. Abby Skye plays at Bucca Hotel from 12PM, and you can also catch Latitude 25 Country at the Spotted Dog and Brooklyn Sauer at Sugarland Tavern.

In the afternoon, Keely Ellen continues her weekend run at the Lighthouse Hotel from 1PM. Matthew Barker plays Ballistic Brewing at the same time, and Brad Sorensen takes over Bundaberg RSL from 3:30PM. Later on, Aaron Westlake performs at Waves Sports Club from 4PM, and Murphy Rd sets the tone at Drift and Wood Café. Finally, Keenan Brittain closes the weekend with a performance at Sandhills Sports Club from 5PM.
