Rally Program
8th August @9am – Tractor Trek leaving from the rally Grounds, arriving at Caley residence, Goodwood road at 10am for morning tea. Returning to the rally grounds at 12pm.
6pm Exhibitor’s welcome dinner at the shelter shed.
Day 2 Saturday 9th of August
6:30am to 7:45amam – Breakfast at the shelter shed – $10 pp includes bacon & egg roll, tea/coffee or soft drink & bush poetry by Matt.
8:00am – Safety Meeting at the engine enclosure, all to attend if possible.
8:15am – Engines and activities to start, corn shelling, grain grinding, water pumping etc all day.
Black Smithing demonstrations at various times during the day.
Vintage Car and Motor bike display all day
New and Vintage Tractor display on show all day
Approximately 9:30am, 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:00pm
Large Mcdonald and Southern cross stationary engine start up.
Tractors start up demonstrations using cartridge starting procedure on a field Marshall morning and afternoon
12 noon – Lunch
1pm – Grand Parade
All activities and demonstrations to continue all afternoon until the close at 5pm
All times for various activities to be announced over the P.A. System prior to the demonstrations commencing as well as commentary as they are happening.
Bar will be open from 12pm until 8pm
Saturday night dinner is available at the Sugarland tavern for those that have booked. Tavern Bus can collect if required.
Day 3 10th of August
8am – safety meeting re fresher
8:15am – activities start.
11am – Grand Parade
1pm -Rally Closes.
