Your Guide to Live Music in Bundaberg This Weekend

If you love live music, Bundaberg is the place to be this weekend! From cruisy café vibes to full-blown rock shows, here’s where you can get your toes tapping and your hips shaking from Friday through Sunday.

Friday – Kick Off the Weekend in Style

Start your Friday afternoon early with Mark Lavender at Sugarland Tavern from 4 pm, or enjoy Railmotor at Codies Place from 5 pm.

For those after some acoustic goodness, Jake Higgins will be at Apple Tree Creek Hotel and Phil McIntyre at Drift and Wood Café from 5:30 pm.

From 6 pm, the choices explode – Diamonds in the Rough at East Magpies, Aaron Westlake at Sandhills Sports Club, Bre Ferguson at Burnett Bowls Club, and Miss Lee at Ricks at Bargara. You’ll also find Mick Douglas at Federal Hotel Childers, plus an Elvis tribute from Errol Puller at Isis Club from 6:30 pm.

If you’re up for late-night tunes, head to Agnes Water Tavern for Abby Skye & Batman at 8 pm, or back to Sugarland Tavern for Jay Furnish from 8:30 pm.

Saturday – Music All Day, All Night

The music kicks off early at 10 am with Dale at River Cruz Café. Lunch crowd? Marah Leigh plays at Bucca Hotel from noon, and Jake Higgins pops up again at the Metro Hotel at 12:30 pm.

The evening offers plenty of choice – from 2EZ at Sugarland Laneway (5 pm) to Emma Newman at Sandhills Sports Club (6 pm). Dance your way through Miss Lee at Ricks at Bargara, Dan Pastoor at Bargara Beach Hotel, Bre Ferguson at Brothers Club, Brad Sorensen at Bundaberg RSL, and Rylair at The Waves.

Country lovers, don’t miss the Sugarland Tavern’s Rock in the Country Show at 7:30 pm.

Sunday – Laidback & Local

Ease into Sunday with Dale back at River Cruz Café from 10 am, Jua Park at Sugarland Tavern from noon, and Jodie Hughes at Federal Hotel Childers.

The afternoon is perfect for a pub crawl of live music – Diamonds in the Rough at East Magpies (1 pm), Keely Ellen at Lighthouse Hotel (1 pm), and Phoebe Jay at Bundaberg RSL (3:30 pm).

Wind down your weekend with Abigail Williams at The Waves or Miss Lee at Sandhills Sports Club from 5 pm.
