What’s On in Bundy This Weekend: Live Music & Good Times!

29 August, 2025
If you’re looking for a weekend full of live music, great food, and a few dance floor moments you might regret on Monday—Bundy has you covered! From pub classics and tribute shows to jazz, punk, and a whole lot of local talent, here’s your guide to what’s on.
Friday
Kick off the weekend with a bang! Sugarland Tavern is starting strong at 4pm with Jason Bull, and later you can catch Dan England from 8:30pm. South Kolan School is throwing Chapstock 25 with Amy Alice, Half Step Brother, Ruth Christie, Dark Matter, and more—it’s basically a festival in the schoolyard! If tribute bands are your jam, the Multiplex has you sorted with Flame Trees and Barnes Forever at 6:45pm, followed by The Australian INXS Show at 7:45pm.
Around town, you’ll find Russell Bishop at Drift and Wood from 5:30pm, Miss Lee at Ricks from 6pm, Brendan Egan Band at Waves from 7pm, and Bones & Co rocking Wallaville Hotel from 7pm. And if you’re coastal, Abby Skye will be at Woodgate Club from 7pm. Basically, no excuse to stay home.
Saturday
Saturday is absolutely packed—choose wisely or just venue-hop until your legs give out. Things kick off early with Dale at River Cruz Café from 10am and Bre Ferguson at Bucca Hotel from midday. If you’re after a big night, don’t miss The Pearl Jam Experience at Old Bundy Tavern at 7pm, or Livewire at Waves, also from 7pm.
Sugarland Tavern brings Dan England back again, while Magpies Sports Club hosts Frostbite from 8pm. And if you’re feeling adventurous, head to Agnes Water Tavern for Tav Goes Punk—featuring brilliantly named acts like Lattes for MILFs, Cheese on Bread Band, and Dad Fight. That’s a mosh pit worth driving for.
Sunday
Ease into Sunday with chilled vibes… or don’t. Start mellow with Dale at River Cruz Café from 10am or Ryan Giles aboard the Bundy Belle at 11am. The afternoon heats up with Amy Alice at Sugarland from 12pm, Mixtape at Apple Tree Creek Pub also at 12pm, and Phil & Chris Coad at Yandaran Hotel. If you love jazz, the Spotted Dog has you covered at 1pm with Sarjee & The Good Ol’ Jazz Boys.
You can finish your weekend strong with Bre Ferguson at Bundy RSL from 3:30pm, The Other Bloke at Waves from 4pm, and Todd Keightley at Drift and Wood Café from 4pm.
🎤 The Wrap-Up
