The Bundaberg regions biggest celebration of local sport is back, with the 2026 Move it Expo.

More than 40 sports clubs, trainers and well-being providers are set to gather under the same roof, at the Bundaberg Multiplex on February 15.

Bundaberg Councillor Carmen McEneany says the free event is a perfect opportunity for children, individuals and newcomers to explore what’s on offer in the region.

‘Move It Expo is always a highlight on our community calendar because it brings together everything we love about sport, fitness and wellbeing.

‘It’s all under one roof, it’s free to attend and it’s a great way for families, individuals and newcomers to explore what’s on offer.

‘Whether you’re looking to join a club, try a new activity or simply learn more about local services, the expo makes it easy and enjoyable.

‘These workshops are a wonderful addition to the weekend and highlight Council’s commitment to supporting local clubs.

‘Not-for-profits are the heart of our sport and recreation community, and these sessions will give them the tools, confidence and connections they need to continue thriving.’

Attendees can explore interactive displays, take part in demonstrations and discover new ways to get active.

For the first time, the Move It Expo will be complemented by a full weekend of sector-building activities, including the new Foundations for Thriving Community Clubs workshop series on Saturday 14 February.

The four workshops will provide expert, practical sessions on good governance, volunteer engagement, financial sustainability and creating safer club environments.
