Flourish Family Fun day
Families across the Bundaberg region are invited to the Flourish Family Fun Day 2026, an all-inclusive, family-friendly event celebrating and acknowledging the diversity of families in our community.
The event will be held on Thursday, 1 October, from 9am to 1pm at PCYC Bundaberg, 1 Civic Avenue.
There’ll be free entertainment, information stalls and activities for the whole family to enjoy, with food and drinks available for purchase.
This year’s event includes the “Get Ready with Birdie” initiative, helping children and families prepare for natural disasters and disruptive events. The day will also feature the Welcome Baby Celebration and the traditional Teddy Bears Parade. Children are encouraged to dress their teddy bears as their favourite first responder.

The Flourish Family Fun Day is proudly supported by local community organisations including Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care, Bundaberg Regional Council, Neighbourhood Centre, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, C&K Childcare and Kindergarten and Wide Bay Kids.
