High in antioxidants, nutrient-dense improves cholesterol and boosts brain function, it's a wonder why acai smoothie bowls are taking over!
INGREDIENTS:
Serves 2-3
1 packet (150 grams) frozen acai
1 small frozen banana
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup apple juice or coconut water
Optional toppings:
Granola, nuts, goji berries, fresh fruit, coconut, chia seeds and honey/maple syrup.
HOW TO:
1. Add all the ingredients to a high powered blender. Blend until smooth and pour into the desired bowl.
2. Top the bowl with your favourite toppings. I recommend drizzling maple syrup over everything. Enjoy!
