Bundaberg’s Long Weekend Lineup: Live Music, Cold Drinks & Coastal Vibes

2 May, 2025
If your idea of a perfect long weekend involves great tunes, local talent, cold bevvies, and a breezy Bundy sunset — then buckle up, because this one’s packed tighter than your esky on a camping trip.
Friday kicks off early with Brendan Egan getting the vibes rolling at Sugarland Tavern from 4PM. At the same time, Dan Pastoor will be serenading the seaside crowd at Drift and Wood Café. By 5PM, it’s full swing with Matt B at the Yandaran Hotel and Mick Bazley pouring out smooth tunes at Ballistic Brewing from 5:30PM.
Come 6PM, it’s a full-blown live music buffet: Bevan Spiers hits the Federal Hotel in Childers, The Other Bloke lands at Burnett Bowls Club, Miss Lee lights up Rick’s at Bargara, and 2EZ take the stage at Tattersalls Hotel. Don’t blink, because there’s also Andrew Copland at the Isis Club and Bre Ferguson at Woodgate Beach Club from 6:30PM.
Still not enough? At 7PM, the party stretches across the region — Neil Wenck at Sandhills Sports Club, Keely Ellen at Brothers Club, Phoebe Jay at RSL Bundy, and Keenan Brittain at the Lighthouse Hotel. And just to top it off, Kathryn Coad, Emmara, and Sharky round out the night before Dan England takes over Sugarland at 8:30PM.
Saturday follows up like a rockstar on a second tour. From midday, Marah Leigh takes the stage at Bucca Hotel, Dale Gordy brings it to the Metro, and Keenan Brittain continues his weekend musical marathon at Ballistic Brewing. Mr Chollin follows at Codies Place from 2PM, and Stella Hutchins keeps things smooth back at Ballistic from 5:30PM.
By 6PM, the region lights up again — Vette English at Rick’s, Dan Pastoor at Bargara Beach Hotel, and a whole lineup from 7PM with Smooth Velvet, Mick Douglas, Bre Ferguson, and Keely Ellen all performing across the city. Don’t miss Dust of Uruzgan at the Isis Club, Sonic Playground at Bucca, and Saltwater Cartel at The Waves. Sharky & The Fill Ins will keep the groove going late into the night at Agnes Water Tavern from 8PM.
Sunday rounds out the weekend with soul-soothing Sunday sessions. Abby Skye brings the chill to Bucca at midday, followed by Todd Keightley at the Lighthouse and Issacc Maher at Ballistic Brewing. Bundy Jazz presents Robyn Brown at the Spotted Dog for the sophisticated ears among us, and Ava Marschke performs at Sugarland Tavern from 2PM.
Cap it all off with Phoebe Jay at Drift and Wood, Brendan Egan at The Waves, and Frank Benn closing the weekend in style at Sandhills Sports Club from 5PM.
Wherever you go, Bundy’s long weekend soundtrack is loud, local, and legendary. Just don’t forget your dancing shoes and maybe Monday off — because this lineup doesn’t believe in quiet nights.
