Bundy’s Big Weekend of Live Music & Good Times

12 July 2025

If you’re looking for a reason to get out and about this weekend in Bundaberg, consider this your sign. The pubs, clubs, and cafés are serving up more than just good food and drinks — they’re rolling out a full spread of live music to keep your toes tapping from Friday right through to Sunday night.

Friday kicks off strong with Brendan Egan at Sugarland Tavern from 4pm, setting the tone for an evening where the tunes just keep coming. From Rob Papp at Codies Place to 4 String Phill at Yandaran Hotel and Dan Pastoor at Drift and Wood Café, the early evening is buzzing. By the time the sun sets, Oodies Café brings in Linc & Jen, Bradz Rock N Rhythm gets Burnett Bowls Club moving, and Mixtape rocks out at Apple Tree Creek. For those who like to keep the night alive, you’ll find everything from Jua Park at Ricks, to Ant n Daz at the Isis Club, to Sharky at Agnes Water Tavern, and Matt Black closing out Sugarland Tavern at 8:30pm.

Saturday doesn’t slow down. The day starts mellow with Elisha Commandau at River Cruz Café before rolling into AgriTrend, where The Other Bloke and Keely Ellen take the stage. Bucca Hotel hosts Sonic Playground Duo, while Bundy’s Biggest Picnic at 3pm brings Abigail Williams to the spotlight. As evening falls, Sugarland Laneway lights up with 2EZ, Ricks at Bargara welcomes Miss Lee, and Oodies Café transforms with A Night in the Spotlight. By 7pm, you’ve got options galore — Jodie Hughes at Sugarland Tavern, The Purple Hills at Brothers, Brad Sorensen at the RSL, and Shades bringing energy to The Waves. If that’s not enough, you can wander over to the Young Australian Hotel for V Twins at 7:30pm.

Sunday keeps the weekend vibes rolling. Elisha Commandau returns to River Cruz Café, while Keely Ellen brightens up Bucca Hotel at midday. Jua Park takes the stage at Sugarland Tavern, and the Melbourne Hotel comes alive with Sounds Untold. By the afternoon, Bre Ferguson at Bundaberg RSL and The Other Bloke at The Waves keep things lively, while Drift and Wood Café hosts the ever-talented Phoebe Jay. To round out the weekend, Keenan Brittain brings it all home at Sandhills Sports Club.

No matter where you turn, Bundy is buzzing with music this weekend. Whether you’re after a relaxed afternoon session, a family-friendly picnic, or a big night out, there’s a stage waiting for you.
