Sir Cliff

Sir Cliff Richard has revealed that he is to reunite with his original band, The Shadows, for the first time in eight years.   Much to the delight of fans worldwide, the 76-year-old pop icon has vowed to rebuild his life after an investigation into sex allegations was dropped earlier this year following a false allegation of sexual abuse. Cliff 's former backing group, whose members have an average age of 75, last teamed up for a Reunited album and tour in 2009. Lead guitarist Hank Marvin is 75, as is Bruce Welch. Drummer Brian Bennett is 76. "The fans ask if me and The Shadows are going to get back together and we have decided 'Yes we will'." Jokingly, he added: "We are going to celebrate our 100 years together."
