The Bundaberg Orchid Society is once again hosting its annual Orchid Show from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th May.

This year’s event will be held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct, off University Drive in Branyan, an easy-access venue with ample parking and a comfortable pavilion where visitors can relax and enjoy the displays.

Renowned as one of the best orchid shows in Queensland, the event attracts exhibitors from local members as well as neighbouring clubs from Childers, Hervey Bay and Maryborough. Visitors can expect to see a stunning range of orchids across more than 40 classes, including the show’s four champion blooms.

Specialist growers and vendors will be on-site offering quality plants, supplies, and expert advice on orchid care, making it a great opportunity for both experienced growers and beginners. Despite their delicate appearance, orchids are surprisingly hardy and easy to grow with the right guidance.

As it’s Mother’s Day weekend, handmade floral posies will also be available for purchase, perfect as a thoughtful gift.

Food and refreshments will be available, with Cruz the Bakehouse offering morning tea and light lunch options.
