With the 2022-2023 turtle nesting season fast approaching a local group of Woongarra Coast Turtle Volunteers is seeking assistance from local residents who would like to participate in turtle conservation research. Local residents who are interested in volunteering as turtle conservation on Bargara, Innes Park or Elliot Head beaches should attend the “Welcome to Bargara” event being held at Bargara State School on Saturday 15th October to chat with some volunteers or email turtle.vols@gmail.com to find out more about how to get involved in turtle conservation this nesting season.
