
For a breakfast on the go why not throw together this deliciously nourishing green smoothie!
ONE SERVE
INGREDIENTS:
1 ripe avocado
1 teaspoon pumpkin seeds
1/2 teaspoon black chia seeds
60g of baby spinach
1 Lebanese cucumber
1 Granny Smith apple
2 teaspoons fresh ginger
1 lime, zested, peeled, coarsely chopped
2 cups of chilled coconut water
1 cup crushed ice
HOW TO:
- Place the coarsely chopped avocado, spinach, cucumber, apple, coconut water, ginger, lime and ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture among serving glasses.
- In a small bowl mix together the lime zest, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds. Sprinkle this mixture over each 'green smoothie' serve.
- Serve immediately.
