Police are calling for witnesses to a fatal crash that occurred around 1pm on Monday, April 22, on the Bruce Highway at Takilberan, north of Gin Gin.
The vehicle involved was a red 2006 Holden Commodore utility with a roof top tent, bearing Queensland registration 033HF3.
A 41-year-old Koongal man, inside the Commodore, died when the vehicle hit a tree.

Police say a white SUV, travelling in front, and a black utility, travelling behind the red vehicle, may be able to assist the Forensic Crash Unit.
There is no indication that these motorists were involved in the crash.
