After being damaged by a truck, an awning at the Bundaberg Library will be permanently removed.

Following a full investigation into the damage caused by a truck hitting the awning in December last year, Bundaberg Regional Council will undertake works to permanently remove the awning after which the front entrance will operate as usual.
