Jobseekers and students looking to enter the workforce or higher education are being urged to attend the Bundaberg Careers Expo.
The free annual event will be held at the Bundaberg Multiplex Sport Convention Centre on May 13.
Around 3,000 people are expected to attend expo with more than 95 exhibitors there on the day.
Bundaberg Region Mayor Helen Blackburn says the expo is a must for all jobseekers.
“The Careers Expo provides valuable connections and resources for community members looking for career opportunities.
“The stallholders represent a broad range of industries and organisations from small business to large, trade skills, higher education, government departments and more.
“As our region grows, so do the opportunities for a rewarding career and highquality education close to home.”
Mayor Blackburn says the expo is a great place to get one-on-one advice about career pathways.
“All the stalls will have exhibitors on hand to answer questions and give practical advice about jobs in their industry.
“I encourage anyone looking to take the first steps towards a new career to come along to Bundaberg Careers Expo.”
Bundaberg Careers Expo is a joint initiative of Bundaberg Regional Council, Link and Launch, Workforce Australia and Jobs Bundaberg, supported by sponsors Central Queensland University (CQU) and YourTown.
