A man has been winched to safety after becoming stranded on a yacht off Burnett Heads.
The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight chopper was called to the yacht at around 3:40 on Friday afternoon (June 13).
The chopper located the vessel 25 nautical miles off Burnett Heads, where the patient was winched onboard.

The yacht was then towed to shore by Marine Rescue Queensland.
The man in his 70s has been taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
