Trio from Bundaberg to represent Queensland in national Hockey event

Three Bundy hockey players will represent the state as part of a major competition being held in Central Queensland.

Ryley Stevens from Bargara and Lachlan McLennan from Wallaville will both represent our region at the Australian Country Challenge in August.

Riley O’Hanlon will also be competing representing Bundaberg.

All three have been announced for the 2025 Queensland Country Men’s Team, following the Hockey Queensland Championship in Brisbane at the weekend.

The Australian Country Championship aims to aims to showcase athletes on a national level, away from the capital cities.

The women’s team will be announced next Tuesday following a competition in Brisbane this weekend.
