Reclaim the Night Rally

Join us as we stand together on Friday 30 October at Buss Park, Bundaberg. Reclaim the Night is a rally for safety, respect and freedom from sexual violence where we speak up, unite our voices, and advocate for our community. This year’s Sexual Violence Awareness Month theme, “No More Silence – Prevent Sexual Violence,” reminds us that sexual violence relies on silence to continue. Together, we say No More Silence by combining our voices, standing with survivors, and committing to preventing sexual violence. The evening will feature a victim survivor speaker, a march along Bourbong Street (bring your signs!), music by Kara James, a time for reflection, and community connection in the park. Reclaim the Night is hosted by Phoenix House, the Bundaberg region’s specialist sexual assault support service, providing safe, trusted, and supportive counselling for people with a lived experience of, or at risk of, sexual violence.
