Reef Regulations

Bundaberg CANEGROWERS are up in arms over the proposed introduction of reef regulations in the region. They've written to each of our local candidates, asking them to state their stance on the issue. Canegrowers Manager Dale Holliss says the regulations will not achieve anything more than what is already voluntarily in place to protect the Great Barrier Reef. Meanwhile the 2017 Reef Alliance Awards is recognising one local grower for his hard word. Chris Russo from the Childers region is a finalist in the Reef Nutrient Management category.
