New information has been discovered following the shooting at Burnett Heads. Police say blood, spent and live rounds and a number of personal belongings were found at the crime scene on Strathdees Road near the boat ramp. The two victims were allegedly approached by three men and shot in the legs on Monday afternoon when they were fishing. Detective Sergeant Andrew Self says the offenders and victims were known to each other and they have identified the men involved in the wounding incident. He says it will be a matter time before police locate those persons of interest.
