
UPDATE | Two people have been arrested following a high speed police chase.
It is alleged the male driver and his female passenger had stolen the car from a young man who was standing in a Quay Street car park on Sunday.
The man involved in the carjacking allegedly took the victim's car keys and the woman is accused of grabbing the mobile phones of the victim and his friends.
Police allegedly gave chase when they spotted the pair and they were eventually arrested in a paddock.
EARLIER | A young man's been threatened with a knife in Bundaberg.
The 20-year-old was in the Quay Street car park with some mates at 9.15pm on Sunday when he was approached by a man and woman who asked him for a cigarette.
They were standing next to the victim’s white 1999 VT Holden Commodore Sedan Queensland Registration 234 VWS at the time.
After a short conversation the man pulled out a small knife and threatened the victim, demanding his car keys.
The woman took their mobile phones before getting into the passenger seat. They were last seen driving off down Quay Street.
The male is described as having light brown skin, approximately 30-40 years of age, tall, skinny build with long black hair in a mullet style and beard.
He was wearing a black cap, black tank top and black shorts.
The female is described as Caucasian appearance, average build with long blonde hair wearing a black shirt, light blue jeans and brown sandals or thongs.
The stolen vehicle has not been recovered.
