A Bargara man has been linked to a messy incident at the Lighthouse Hotel in Burnett Heads.
The 45-year-old was arrested and charged with eight counts of wilful damage stemming from an incident on Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is alleged the man upturned a table at the Lighthouse Hotel causing the marble table top to crack.
He has then gone to the Burnett Heads Marina upturned bins and smashed a table and pot plants at one place, before throwing a sign through the front glass door at the Baltimore Port Marina Cafe.
Three vehicles parked in the marina car park were also damaged.
- A silver Holden Barina hatchback had its driver’s side door, mirror and window smashed
- A red Jeep Grand Cherokee had a smashed rear driver’s side window and panel damage
- A white Mitsubishi Lancer had a snapped rear spoiler and cracked windscreen
- The Bundaberg Port Marina also had the tops of 12 pedestal lights smashed which are worth $120 each.
It is further alleged that the man has picked up a stand displaying pamphlets at Oaks Beach, throwing and smashing the cart.
The man was given bail and will appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on June 3.
