UPDATE | Margot the Beagle has been located safe and well.
Police would like to thank members of the public who helped search for Margot, the five-month-old Beagle puppy, who went missing from the rear of the Playhouse Theatre on Wednesday night.
Margot was located on Saturday morning and is now safely back home with her owner.
EARLIER | Police would like to hear from anyone who might know the whereabouts of Margot, a five month old tricolour Beagle.
Margot was last seen at the Bundaberg Playhouse in Steffensen Street, Bundaberg West at approximately 9.15pm on Wednesday, June 12.
At the time, Margot, who is microchipped, was wearing a black harness/leash and tied up at the rear of the venue.
An extensive search of the area on the night and since have failed to locate the missing dog.
Police believe that she may have been stolen and the owner has offered a reward for her safe return.
Please help us return a much loved puppy to her rightful owner.
