UPDATE 10:10AM 14/8 | Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews remain at the scene of a vegetation fire south west of Gin Gin.

It is burning near Doughboy Road, Doughboy and is within containment lines.

Crews confirmed there is no threat to property.

Firefighters will be patrolling and mopping up in the area.

Smoke may affect surrounding areas throughout the day and into the evening.

Residents should close windows and doors, and keep respiratory medication close by if required.

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions and be mindful of crews working close to the roadside. If residents feel their property is under threat, they should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.

The blaze broke out at Doughboy over the weekend.  

The fire is burning within containment lines off Doughboy Road and crews are making sure it remains under control.
