Showers and storms are forecast in Bundaberg on Friday.
There is a medium chance of showers, most likely this evening. But we could also see a thunderstorm develop.
We will see a top temperature of 25 degrees in Bundaberg for the final day of the working week.
The Bureau of Meteorology's Lauren Pattie confirmed there will be some scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day.
The South East and Mackay have already started to see that rainfall.
Ms Pattie said "we do have some shower activity out there, also a little further south off shore of south east Queensland at the moment but more showers are expected to develop throughout today [Friday]".
The Bureau of Meteorology's Lauren Pattie said the wet change will be shortlived.
She explained that this is a "clearing trend, the rain and showers will continue overnight into Saturday and continue particularly in the morning, but by the time we get into Saturday evening it will gradually ease back".
Rockhampton and Gladstone will also see a wet change on Friday, following weeks of hot, dry weather.
