‘Guard of Honour’ To Farewell St Luke’s Year 12’s

St Luke’s Anglican School celebrated the graduation of their 2019 Year 12 with a grand ceremony, including; a final Farewell Liturgy, morning tea and the ‘Guard of Honour’, a tradition held since 1995.

Principal Craig Merritt said that the last day of school at St Luke’s Anglican School is a very special occasion for our Year 12’s and while it marks the end of their schooling years, it is the beginning of their adult lives.

While they head into their future unknown, they will always have a place in the school community as St Luke’s Old Saints Alumni.

“It is an exciting time for our Year 12’s. Every year we have a significant percentage of students embarking on further study and undertaking exciting job prospects and we’re confident our graduates are headed for bright futures” he said.

The Guard of Honour will be formed at 11:15AM on Friday November 15.
