Dust off the tent and hook up the caravan, you can now hit the road and go camping at state-owned dams across Queensland.
Sunwater camping grounds at Wuruma Dam, west of Bundaberg was set to reopen at midday on Wednesday, as covid restrictions continue to ease in the state.
Groups are limited to no more than 20 people.
Visitors to any of Sunwater's camp sites will be subject to current social distancing guidelines and everyone is encouraged to bring their own supplies and observe good hygiene practices.
Sunwater sites can also be accessed to undertake recreation activities such as picnics, swimming, boating, skiing and fishing.
This includes access to Sunwater-managed toilets, shower blocks and BBQ facilities in day use areas.
