An Avenell Heights man charged with multiple offences relating to a fatal crash in Bundaberg will remain behind bars for now.
The 27-year old was arrested on Monday night after an allegedly stolen car lost control on Bourbong Street and mounted a curb.
A 63-year-old pedestrian from the Sunshine Coast died at the scene.
The accused briefly appeared in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary. He was additionally charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and driving without a licence.
The case was adjourned until September after a brief mention in the Bundaberg court on Wednesday.
