The winter chill has officially kicked in for Bundaberg, with temperatures falling to single digits over the next few mornings.
Locals woke up to what felt like 5.5 degrees on Tuesday morning, with minimums of seven degrees expected up until Thursday July 7th.
Meteorologist Rosa Hoff said the cold air is coming up from the southern states.
"Bundaberg will be getting down to 7 and 8 degrees overnight," she said.
"This air is slowly moving north it'll be affecting most inland areas and spreading to coastal areas."
