Putting a stop to drunk drivers, drug dealers and alcohol-fuelled violence was the focus of Bundaberg police on New Year's Eve.
As part of the operation, 12 people have been charged over more than 20 offences and 18 banning notices were issued.
Two women and two men have been charged with drink driving. One of the women is due in court today, and the other three are due to appear in February.
Four men and a woman have been slapped with fines for public urination, public nuisance and other liquor offences.
Three men are due in court, accused of carrying dangerous drugs.
Constable Adam David says the results are a good step towards reducing crime in Bundaberg's Safe Night Precinct.
"While we did see a number of people arrested and charged with offences during New Years Eve celebrations, overall we were happy with the behaviour of members of the public and would like to wish everyone a safe and happy New Year for 2021," Constable David says.
