We're in for a scorcher during the last week of summer.
A heatwave will send temperatures soaring to between six and ten degrees above the average in Bundaberg today.
Forecaster from the Bureau of Metrology Peter Clarson says they're forecasting a top of 37 degrees in Bundy today.
"Inland of Bundaberg it's reaching a high of 39 degrees in Monto, so really hot conditions through the Wide Bay."
Temperatures will drop slightly from tomorrow with 33 degrees predicted, staying in the mid-30s until Sunday.
