A man has been badly hurt in a quad bike crash while herding cattle, north-west of Bundaberg.
Paramedics rushed to treat a man in his sixties on a private property, around 10am on Monday, after he lost control of his quad bike and crashed.
The Bundaberg-based RACQ Lifeflight Rescue worked alongside paramedics to treat the man for multiple injuries.
He was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a serious but stable condition, before being transferred into another chopper.
The second aeromedical team then flew the patient to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment.
