A man has been injured after being thrown from his horse while mustering cattle, north of Bundaberg.
A patient in his 50s was treated by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics at the Gindoran property on Friday night, for a suspected broken shoulder and spinal injuries.
The RACQ Capricorn Rescue helicopter was called to the scene shortly after 8:30pm.
The Rescue 300 aircraft conducted a low reconnaissance of the area and found a suitable landing site near the patient.
He was stabilised at the scene, before being loaded onto the chopper and flown to Rockhampton Base Hospital, under the care of an onboard flight doctor and critical care paramedic.
