A man has been airlifted to hospital after a motorbike crash on Fraser Island.
A spokesperson for Bundaberg RACQ Lifeflight says they were called to the scene around 11am on Saturday.
"It's believed the male rider, in his 50s, was attempting to ride from a beach to a resort, when he lost control and was thrown over the handlebars," the spokesperson says.
The man was treated on scene for rib and shoulder injuries before being airlifted to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.
