Ben Marschke's NRL career is off to a rocky start.
The former Bundaberg junior and new Sydney Roosters' hooker is facing a two-match ban, accused of a crusher tackle during Saturday's 26-18 win over the Sharks.
Marschke, who played junior rugby league for the Across The Waves Tigers, has been charged over the apparent crusher tackle on Sharks winger Mawene Hiroti.
An early guilty plea could see Marschke miss just one game.
The Roosters have until midday today to make a plea.
