Diversions in place on highway following truck roll over

Police have declared an emergency situation on the Bruce Highway following a truck roll over in Horton, near Childers late last night.

The Double-B fuel tanker crashed, causing it to roll around 9pm. 

Roughly 20,000 litres of fuel leaked onto the road and surrounding areas.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene. 

Drivers are being warned an 800m exclusion zone is still set up around the crash, and diversions start at Biggenden.

Emergency services will remain on scene today to clean up the spill.
