A man has been charged over the death of his passenger after his truck crashed into a tree in South Australia.
The crash happened just after 1.30pm on Saturday on the Eyre Highway near Coorabie.
A 27-year-old man from Western Australia died at the scene.
On Sunday morning, police arrested the driver, also from WA, and he will appear in court in September charged with death by dangerous driving.
The state's road toll is 74 compared with 43 at the same time last year.
