We’re back on the farms!

Farmer wants a wife is back with four new farmers; Thomas, Corey, Tom and Jarrad out to find love. We’re already a few episodes in and things didn’t take long before things started to get kick off.

The first two episodes consisted of many speed dates where the farmers and ladies had a chance to meet everyone. Thomas immediately hit it off with Clare and disclosed to the behind the scenes team she was already a favourite. But Jarrad had an awkward moment when he discovered that both he and Brianna were both from Coffs Harbour and also both came from the Page Family… Which prompted a quick investigation from the team, it was revealed that in all of Coffs Harbour there are two Page families and thankfully they came from separate Page families. Phew.

The Farmers got the chance to have a 24-hour solo date with a lady of their picking. Corey went with Keely (they kissed), Tom chose Eliza (they locked lips), Thomas selected Claire (they puckered up and smooched), and Jarrad picked Chloe (they however did not kiss, which is great for me cause I was running out of different ways to say “they kissed”). Jarrad, very much embracing his inner Ken pulled out his guitar to play a song for Chloe, which was a choice.

Episode 3, is when things started to get interesting. The ladies arrived at the farms and were put to work with the farmers. The farmers were told that they were to select ladies to go on a double date with that night and the date would conclude with one of them being sent home. But before the dates even occurred Bridget and Emmie chose to leave the show and opting out to say goodbye to Farmer Tom.

It didn’t take long for tears to emerge either as Rosie ended up in tears twice during the double date, she then chose to leave the show telling Corey “I can’t fall in love this way”. The others farmers dates were fairly uneventful, however Clarette asked Thomas for a moment of privacy with him just before the date concluded which ended with a long and passionate sharing of tongues (found another one in the end).

Episode four brought our first event – The Bullarama. More importantly though episode 4 brought Farmer Thomas some heart break. From the first episode Thomas was pretty smitten for Claire, but Claire decided her time at the farm was over after she shared that the shows format and what it entails wasn’t really for her.
