Bundaberg’s food and tourism offers will be in the spotlight at an event at Queensland Parliament House next Thursday.
It’s part of the Wide Bay Region Promotion Night, a highly anticipated event for local businesses.
Chamber of Commerce president Tim Sayre said it’s a vehicle for them to not only promote local offerings, but keep in touch with other state members of parliaments.
“It allows us to show the wide range of industries and businesses we have locally,” Mr Sayre said.
The Member for Burnett, Stephen Bennett, was the brainchild of the event, which initially began as a Burnett-only showcase.
“It’s no secret that I’m incredibly proud of this region,” Mr Bennett said.
“I look forward to be able to shine a spotlight on our leading iconic producers, award-winning businesses and tourist attractions.”
