Boost to employment services for Bundaberg youth living with a disability

Bundaberg youth living with a disability will soon have a new pathway to gaining meaningful employment.

Yourtown is now part of the Inclusive Employment Australia program, with those aged 15-24 able to start accessing support from November.

Services they’ll provide include personalised coaching, life skills development, and confidence-building activities.

Business manager Cheryl Graffunder said they’re looking forward to extending their programs.

“Disability is just one part of a young person’s story, and our services are designed to empower, not define,” she said.

“It’s not just about finding a job, it’s about finding the right job for each young person.”
