Clean-up efforts are underway in Bundaberg after storms have wreaked havoc in the region.
Bundaberg Regional Council responded to more than 50 reports of fallen trees yesterday, after severe weather brought strong winds, rain and lightning the night before.
The SES has also responded to several incidents, including minor roof damage and trees down in Elliott Heads, Bargara and Bundaberg.
Residents who see a fallen tree that poses a danger are asked to report it via the Snap Send Solve app or by phone or email so urgent hazards can be prioritised.
Council is also working to unblock a number of drainage inlets impacted by debris which is reducing the ability of some local drains to flow.
Teams are systematically sweeping the area to clear these, however, residents are encouraged to alert Council of any urgent issues or hazards.
Locals are being reminded that the Bundaberg Regional Council Disaster Dashboard provides real-time updates on road conditions, power outages, emergency information and other useful resources.
Residents are encouraged to make use of the Disaster Dashboard and ensure they have basic preparations in place as crews continue their work across the region.
