Community consultations for the Bundaberg Regional Council’s economic development strategy are set to commence.
The document aims to promote economic growth in the region over the next 10 years, with sessions to be held at Childers, Gin Gin, and Bundaberg this month.
The council hopes the document will help boost Bundaberg’s potential as a “liveable, vibrant and connected community.”

It’ll also help provide direction on how to foster growth in the area, develop the workforce and attract innovation to the region
Mayor Helen Blackburn said community members are encouraged to give their feedback on the document.
