The Cane2Coral Fun Run is coming back in 2023 just a little bit sooner than originally planned.
After community feedback organisers have moved the date forward to July 23 so it doesn’t clash with other dates in the running calendar.
“We’ve read your emails, we’ve read your comments and most importantly – we’ve listened, we’ve heard what you’ve had to say. The Cane2Coral committee sincerely and genuinely values the feedback from participants and the public,” a statement from organisers says.
“This date will align with Queensland running calendars and other local event calendars and allow more people to participate in this prestigious event. We do sincerely apologise to those who may have already made plans, we feel that this change is a positive step for all involved. We look forward to seeing you in 2023!”
