New defibrillators are being installed across Bundaberg’s ambulances as part of a $10 million investment by the state government.
Over 80 have been delivered so far in the Wide Bay, with more than 200 staff trained in its use.
Member for Burnett, Stephen Bennett, says it’s all part of a government plan to address critical healthcare statewide.

“We are investing in these defibrillators because they will save lives, and equip our paramedics with the technology needed to deliver world-class healthcare to the Bundaberg and Burnett community,” Mr Bennett said.
