A man has been struck by a serpent at a private residence in Bucca, west of Bundaberg.
Emergency services were called to the home, at 10.20pm last night.
Paramedics assessed the man in his 70s, who had been bitten on the foot.

He was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
