The forensic crash unit is investigating, following a fatal car crash north of Maryborough.
Authorities believe at around 6.45 yesterday morning, a van travelling on Duckinwilla Road left the road and crashed into a tree.
The crash caused the van to ignite and become engulfed in flames.

Following the arrival of emergency services at the scene, the driver and sole occupant was located dead inside the vehicle.
Investigations are underway to identify the driver.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
