Authorities are calling for assistance to help locate a car allegedly stolen from a property in Maryborough.
Police say the white Range Rover was stolen from a property on Albert Street early yesterday morning, before it was later spotted driving erratically in Hervey Bay, crashing into an electrical pole in Urangan.
Reports say the car was then seen driving south on the Bruce Highway way near Tiaro.
Police have charged a 17-year-old girl involved in the alleged break in.
They say at approximately 2am, the girl, accompanied by a group of teenagers, broke into the Albert Street property, where she stole a handbag and other personal items.
The teenagers left in the stolen white 2013 Range Rover, however, the girl, who left on foot, was arrested by police shortly afterwards at a nearby address.
She’s been charged with one count of enter dwelling and commit indictable offence.
She is due to appear at Maryborough Childrens Court at a late date.
The vehicle, a white 2013 Range Rover with Queensland registration J3SS8, has not been located.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who has seen the Range Rover, or with relevant vision, to contact police.
