Local police have conducted multiple traffic operations focusing on road safety across Bundaberg.
The operations were held across Bundaberg, Coonar and Kinkuna between October 26 and October 29.
On October 26 officers from the Bundaberg Highway Patrol intercepted vehicles and conducted vehicle examinations, which led to seven traffic infringement notices being issued.
Out of these vehicles, two were immediately grounded and unable to be driven.
Over the following days officers continued further enforcement in the Kinkuna and Coonar areas, issuing several traffic infringement notices including driving with unrestrained passenger 16 years or older, defective vehicle and non-compliant modification to vehicle.
