Rider dies after Walkervale crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Walkervale.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Barolin Street yesterday morning.

Three vehicles were involved – a silver Nissan X-Trail, a white Toyota Hilux, and a C-F Moto motorbike.

The 71-year-old male rider from Kawungan was declared deceased at the scene.

The 75-year-old female driver of the Nissan from Tinana was taken to Bundaberg Hospital as a precaution.

The 61-year-old driver of the Hilux from North Isis was not physically injured.

Investigations are ongoing.
